Schampoo, gel big bootles vs good old soap bar

Every day you wash off, I hope. And in these modern days, most of the time you use a bottle of gel instead of the good old soap bar.
 
Those big bottles just forces you to pour more in your hand. You cannot really control, even if you try to, implying that you always pour way too much in your hand, most of the time part of it goes directly to the shower floor. If you can avoid this you anyway uses way too much. This is even more obvious if you have kids. Those kids, they don't care and just pour too big a chunk and don't bother. But who cares, this is only a bit of soap. I know, but still this forces you to use too much, to waste a big part of it, resulting in the fact that you have to buy a new bottle faster than you should.

That doesn't happen with bars because you have to scrub to get the soap. You only use what you need with a bar.

In some of those, they have even pushed the trick by making the hole much too big. This is done on purpose. This is specially designed so that you end up pouring too much and thus empty the bottle much faster than needed and go buy a new one. Consumerism. I know, it is just a bit of soap, but all this ends up in our river. A bit of soap in each house ends up accumulating to a lot of soap in a village, town, and so forth. Imagine how much useless soap ends up in our oceans. And this is all specially designed so that you end up spending more cash to fill the pockets of the shareholders.

So why not buying a bar of soap? The next time you are in a shop, think about it.
